Be cool, this isn’t about the morality people assign to hexes and curses. It’s not about the Wiccan rede or the three fold law, or even karma. It’s about the difference in energy created on the endless spectrum of magic and manifestation.

What happens when you craft and cast a spell or use your intent to manifest something into creation? You address the objective universal energies and the tools that correspond with the energies you desire and paint a masterpiece that reflects that desired energy.

So no, there is no morality, there’s only energy, and the kind of energy you create depends on what kind of energy you want to bring into this world. Do you want to create strife, pain, chaos and suffering or do you want to create life, joy, abundance and love? Be cool, stay with me.

When we set about to hex or curse certain individuals or (cough cough) governments, there’s generally the intent to just affect that one person or thing, but we need to take into account the countless people, systems and innocent bystanders surrounding that person or thing. How will they be affected? Are you okay with that ripple effect and fallout?

Imagine you hex your enemy because yeah, they kind of deserve it. Yeah, they all of a sudden start experiencing bad luck, bad health and they might start losing their mind, which is great for you and those skills and all, but what’s going to happen when that energy starts spreading, as energy always does?

The people closest to that person start feeling that energy. The projects they’re involved in that touch countless others’ lives then take on that energy of chaos, failure and misery you sent the OG enemy and that hex has now affected dozens or hundreds more people than you intended.

The hexed falls from grace first, so all of their friends, family and coworkers start receiving the fallout energy just by proximity. They start losing their jobs, paychecks, support systems and who knows what else. Say patient zero falls asleep at the wheel because they’re absolutely wrecked and they cause an accident. Say they lose their job so their family, kids, pets and coworkers who rely on them then suffer as a side effect.

Are you prepared to take responsibility for that blight that’s now spreading and literally affecting everyone it touches?

Or do you think it might be more efficient to spread blessings, protections, joy, love and abundance?

Consider that instead of setting up those dominos to fall, sending blessings to uplift the people and things surrounding that dumpster fire of a human so that they can no longer cause harm.

If you send good vibes only to the people and things surrounding that odious motherfucker, that jerk then has a choice: they can either accept this new energy and change for the better or they can reject it and just fade away, disappearing from your life like they never existed.
